Buongiorno! Rome

Friday June 7th - Sunday June 9th, 2024

We were in Italy for about a week and chose to stay in 2 main cities, Rome and Venice. They were both wonderful cities, but soooo very different. I am going to let the pictures do the talking for these next couple of posts. So much to see and eat!

We decided to try the 551 step option.

Inside the Basilica is beautiful. There are statues and paintings and sculptures and ornate alters, but the ceiling is amazing as well!

Piazza Navona

These are public water fountains around the city. This is ALL good drinking water.

If you cover the spigot of the water, there is a small hole at the top where you can drink the water like a fountain. The kids loved it.
