Ahhhh, Venice

Monday June 10 - Saturday June 15th, 2024

The second city in Italy we visited was Venice. Beautiful, car-free streets made for pedestrians. And beautiful bridges over canals. Soooo many bridges and windy roads. It's easy to make a wrong turn. The city is so small and walkable though, that you don't really get lost. . .

Green Apple Gelato shop is one of the best gelatos we have eaten. . . and we have eaten a LOT!

There are many leaning towers every where in Italy and I'm not talking about Pisa. Is the Italian ground sinking? This is a leaning tower by our apartment.

Fortuny was very prolific and seemed to do everything! Zoe called this his dollhouse.
