Maui Friends in Portugal!

I always love seeing friends on the road. We purposely planned a week in Portugal to visit some friends that live outside of Lisbon in a town called Palmela. It's a sweet little town by the larger port city of Setubal and near the Arrabida National Park. Rimma's place was a perfect hub to visit Lisbon and the surrounding area. They moved from Maui a couple of years and ago and it was a great opportunity to see them again. They were the perfect hosts and travel guides as they showed us some of their favorite places in the area. It was the respite we needed and enjoyed hanging out again!

Palmela! If I had thought of it, I would have taken a picture with every city name we went to, because it seems like most cities have a sculpture with their name!
The longest bridge in Europe is in Lisbon, the Vasco de Gama Bridge.
