After Iceland, we had one day at sea and then we arrived in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It was very green but cloudy, just as we would have expected Northern Ireland to be. We rented a car in Belfast and took a driving tour toward the Giant's Causeway, which are these hexagonally shaped rock formations on the northern shore. On the way, we stopped off at the Dark Hedges and afterwards took a look at Dunluce Castle, which were both featured in the series Game of Thrones!
Gracehill House, where the Stuart Family lived. At the Dark Hedges, which were planted to frame the avenue to Gracehill House. . . .These Hedges were featured in the Game of Thrones, as part of the King's Road.At the Giant's Causeway. You can't tell from this photo, but I stood in front of this rock for about 5 mins before I could get a clear shot without people in front of the rock. The place was packed! The beautiful coastline leading up to the cool rock formations. The view on the way back from the causeway is just as stunning. The Giant's Causeway is close to the town of Bushmill's, which is where the famous whiskey is made. When in Ireland! . . .Dunluce Castle was closed by the time we arrived, but we were able to take a couple of cool photos.Dunluce Castle was featured in Game of Thrones as the House of Greyjoy. . . looks like a gloomy sea place. . .
