We flew to Seattle, WA to make our way to our nephew, Bryan's wedding in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. It was a nice family visit and a beautiful wedding.
Since we were in the area, we scheduled a white water rafting adventure on the very last day of the season in Montana! We had the river almost all to ourselves and our guides took us on a leisurely route down the river. We all got cold and wet, but it was an amazing experience. The kids want to go white water rafting again!
We then flew to northern California for a short visit with family and friends near Sacramento and the Bay Area.
Originally we were going to be roadtripping to some National Parks as we headed east, but decided to go back to Maui and take a little break from travel. We arrived back on Maui on September 13th and was immediately able to settle into our newly renovated home. We still had a bunch of unpacking, cleaning and organizing to do, but we were home! It was a great feeling! We took the next couple weeks to settle and "nest" before heading out for the next 3 months. . . .
